Hosts and Viruses (H&V) (ISSN: 2515-4982, previous ISSN: 2055-6128) accepts research on the viruses of human, animals, plants, archaea, bacteria, fungi, and protozoa. Manuscripts on both fundamental and applied aspects are considered.
Hosts and Viruses will feature reports on disease emergence, research on virus-host interactions, viral pathobiology, biophysical properties, genetic diversity, immunology, and viral infection biology.
Key issues on vaccines and antiviral agents, and on the use of viruses as vector delivery system and gene therapy are given special preference.
