Dynamic between the acute phase protein concentration and somatic cell count (SCC) in the infected group throughout the study period. Acute phase protein is expressed as mean ± SEM (µg/mL) and SCC is expressed in 1 x 106 cells/mL. The SCC is consistently above the threshold values of 1 x 106 cells/mL at 6, 24, 48 and 72 hpi of S. aureus (n=15).
